My name is Melanie Kaeding, a licensed real estate agent in the state of Nebraska and Iowa. I am originally from Sturgis, S.D. but have called Blair, NE my home for over 17 years. As an experienced real estate agent, I take pride in guiding you through the process of buying or selling your home.  My promise is to provide you with exceptional customer service through communication, attention to detail, advanced marketing techniques, hard work, and market knowledge.  From start to finish, while keeping you first of mind, I will work to make the process seamless and stress-free. 

I am passionate about helping and investing in people.  Prior to becoming a real estate agent, I was in education for over eight years, working in special education.  Our community is so special to me and I have been blessed to be able to serve in many ways.  Some of these opportunities have been as a volunteer with the Blair Swim Team, serving as President of the Parent Advisory Committee for six years, Post Prom volunteer, and other school activities. I am currently a CASA volunteer and have learned a great deal from spending time with kids dealing with the court system.  I am currently serving on the board of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and I am on the Blair Planning Commission.

When I am not selling real estate, I love to spend time with my family.  I have been married for over 25 years and have three children, ages 20, 23, and 24.  I also enjoy getting time to hike, fish, kayak, camp, and run!

I  started beekeeping as a hobby and joined the Great Plains Master Beekeeper group. I didn't know how fun bugs could be!
